Danielle S. McCracken is Director of Bands at Coronado High School in Henderson, Nevada, where she also serves as the Performing/Fine Arts Department Coordinator. Previously, she was the Director of Bands at Silverado High School in Las Vegas for five years, and taught in Northeast Ohio for one year. Mrs. McCracken received bachelor degrees in Music Education and Oboe Performance from The Ohio State University in 1995. She is currently pursuing her masters degree in Instrumental Conducting at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Her conducting teachers have included Craig Kirchhoff, Richard Blatti, Elizabeth Jackson, Tom Leslie, and Tad Suzuki. Mrs. McCracken is the current secretary of the Nevada Music Educators Association. She is also a member of the Clark County Band Directors Association, Music Educators National Conference, and the National Band Association. Mrs. McCracken resides in Las Vegas with her husband, Jeff, and her two daughters.
