To receive extra credit you must have NO MISSING ASSIGNMENTS. Missing assignments and participation points must be made up before extra credit is accepted. Below are some extra credit opportunities. It is the student's responsibility to print and turn in the following form to receive extra credit.

1) 40 points - Volunteer to help at a CHS Guitar Concert (see calendar for dates). See Mr. Nishimoto to sign up to volunteer. You must be in good behavioral standing.
2) 25 points - Participate or volunteer for a Guitar Fundraiser Project.
3) 20 points - Attend a CHS Guitar Concert (see calendar for dates). You must turn in a program.
4) 20 points - Attend a CHS Music Concert (Band, Choir, Orchestra). You must turn in a program.
5) 20 points - Attend a teacher-approved non-school guitar concert. Any guitar concert sponsored by the Allegro Guitar Society of Las Vegas is approved (see Links), for any others please see Mr. Nishimoto. You must turn in a program AND ticket stub.
6) 10 points - Write a one page summary of a concert that you attended (this may be used in combination with the attendance points above, overall 30 points!)
7) 10 points - Attend another school's Guitar Concert. You must turn in a program or ticket stub.
8) 5 points - Donate D'Addario product packaging, this is the packaging from any D'Addario product such as strings, picks, pickups, accessories, etc (you keep the product, we just want the packaging). We redeem the "Player's Points" and receive items for the classroom.
9) 4 points - Do an article summary (see Make Up Articles). You must have made up all missing participation points before turning in a summary for extra credit.
10) 4 points - Participate in a "Professional Dress Day"
