Solo & Ensemble added by Mr Nishimoto

Good Luck to all the Intermediates and Advanced students that will be participating in the Solo & Ensemble Festival tomorrow. Please don't forget to arrive an hour early and get a good warm up! Also, make sure you bring EVERYTHING you need: guitar, MUSIC, footstool, so on and so forth. The festival is at Clark High School which is located on the corner of Arville and Pennwood. The exact address is 4291 W Pennwood Ave. Please use Mapquest to get directions from your area.

Fall Concert added by Mr Nishimoto

The Guitar/Jazz Band Fall Concert is on Wednesday, October 26th, at 6:30pm in the CHS Theatre. This concert features the CHS Jazz Bands as well as the all 20 members of the CHS Intermediate Guitar Ensemble. The admission is free and the concert will last about an hour. Hope to see you there to support the CHS Guitar Program and Jazz Bands.

Advanced Ensemble Auditions will be held on during class on 9/26-27. Remember the requirements for this audition:
1) Prepared Piece (Student Choice)
2) Prepared Piece (Instructor Choice)
3) Scales
- Pentatonic
- Open Position (F,C,G,D,A,E)
- Movable Two Octave
4) Sight Reading
5) Other (stage presence, performance etiquette, current grade/citizenship)
